Je vis à un endroit, au Canada, à St. John's, à Terre-Neuve, où cette notion de région vexe souvent mes voisins, parce que le terme région englobe les Maritimes et Terre-Neuve, la région Atlantique du Canada donc, et qu'en tant que spectateur représentatif, je soutiens personnellement que le mot «régional» ou le mot «région» signifie Terre-Neuve, et non pas cette zone géographique plus vaste.
I think the distinction between regional and local is often blurred, it's quite vexed. I'm living in a part of this nation, in St. John's, Terre Neuve, where the concept of region actually offends many of my neighbours, because it is meant to include the Maritimes and Newfoundland, or Atlantic Canada, and as a representative spectator, I would argue that “regional” or “the region” means to Newfoundlanders Newfoundland, and not that vast geographical sphere.
