Un citoyen de l’Union conserve la qualité de travailleur après la fin de la relation de travail s’il a été frappé par une incapacité de travail temporaire résultant d’une maladie, s’il se trouve en chômage involontaire dûment constaté ou s’il remplit une des autres conditions énoncées à l’article 7, paragraphe 3, de la directive. Il bénéficie du même traitement que les ressortissants de l’État membre d’accueil[87].
EU citizens retain the status of worker after the end of the employment relationship if they are temporarily unable to work owing to illness, are in duly recorded involuntary unemployment, or satisfy one of the other conditions listed in Article 7(3) of the Directive, and they enjoy equal treatment with the nationals of the host Member State[87].
